Dr. Tauhid Hossain Khan attended the Disability Prevention and Integration Conference in Canada 2026. "Exploring the Health and Safety Experiences of Gig Workers in Bangladesh: A Sociological Study in Dhaka City," Our study highlights how platform-based gig work shapes workers' physical health, psychosocial wellbeing, financial insecurity, and everyday precarity in Bangladesh. Using a qualitative sociological approach grounded in Sen's Capability Approach, we explored the lived realities of gig workers and the urgent need for stronger social protection and fairer labour policies.
